I love the early morning fresh bakery. This place is amazing. They speak a little English and this is something that I appreciate a lot. Lovely people, nice food, excellent service. I highly recommend it! All the best for the staff! :)

Dropped in here on a couple occasions. First for the coffee and spinach pie. The coffees were good and the spinach pie had great flavor and was very filling. For desserts we tried the Galaktoboureko & Portokalopita. The Galaktoboureko custard was delicious and made for a great breakfast pastry. The Portokalopita was okay. The we had another savory pastry with meat on it that also was okay, but I preferred the spanikopita over the others.

We had a piece of feta pie, spinach pastries and kataifi. Even though we were there around 5pm, everything still tasted fresh. Would highly recommend, even if you have to walk for a bit. Stumbled across this little gem whilst exploring the streets of Athens with the family. Friendly and helpful staff who recommended some traditional Greek treats that we thoroughly enjoyed. They were so good, we returned for more! Highly recommend this bakery to anyone visiting Athens!

A hidden gem in the neighbourhood! We stayed pretty close by and visited this place to try pastries at least twice a day during our stay. A perfect choice for having breakfast, dessert, coffee and ice cream!

“My morning coffee” during my brief stay in Athens. The best small “black & white” cookies filled with chocolate… I’d post a picture but I ate them too fast! Staff was so friendly. Endless selection of baked goods.

Lovely little bakery where we came to get our breakfast before the day’s adventure. Tasty, quick, and more reasonably priced and sized than the hotel’s buffet.

Incredible bakery with breakfast, lunch and dinner items. I had a flaky pastry stuffed with chicken, vegetables, and creamy sauce that was incredible. Easy walking distance from the Acropolis and Greece U Around.

A really good bakery with a very friendly staff. We were staying across the street and used to visit this bakery every day. The pies and cookies were excellent. Beware the sweets tend to be on the sweeter side. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that you had to eat outside while standing. So it is mostly a take away place. They have coffee and fresh juices too. Did I mention ice-creams!

Me and my boyfriend went here everyday for the 8 days duration of our trip to Athens, we tried so many food and everything was incredibly good and tasty, also the women that work here are so so nice we even became friends with one of them. Truly the best bakery of Athens, now that I'm back home the Thiseio Bakery is the place that I miss the most cause their food was so good

Such a lovely bakery! The owner was so patient with our many questions (and spoke excellent English) and all of our treats were so yummy! Will definitely be back!

Stumbled across this bakery on our way back from Plaka at night. We tried the chocolate pie and orange pie (3euros each) which were AMAZING. Tasted like heaven!!! We went back the next night and tried their custard baklava. Also super good. Lady there is as sweet as the treats. Will miss this once we’re back home ;(
went here for something sweet and a snack - a cheese pie and a spinach one. Paid a few euros, but they were very tasty, warm and fresh these were very satisfying, as we were hungry and kept us satisfied until dinner

Lovely owner and the baklava was so delicious!! I came back later in the day just to get one of the ice cream cones and they were amazing! (But not pictured because it didn't last too long once I took a bite!) This is going to be a stop for me every day I'm here in Athens;

Bakery is quite good and offers a lot of different bakes, but the staff wasn't very polite. I'd give it a 3/5, but .. maybe it was just an exception, so.. Give that it's one of the few places working before 9:30 in Athens, and the taste of the food - I'm giving it 5/5 after all.
